My name is Elijah Taylor and I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in December 2021, with a degree in Education. My concentration area is 4-8 Language Arts and Social Studies. Starting in January, I begin teaching 5th Grade Social Studies. My hobbies include exercising, reading, and spending time with family. I began writing poetry in the Fall of 2018. My first poem publication was in the Spring of 2020, by the Beacon at Sam Houston State University. The poem is entitled “A Bottle for My Emotions.” I am the author of As Life Happens and also a Spoken Word Artist. My Favorite Elementary! is my first Children’s book and is the starter for future projects.
